Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Humanskills Pte Ltd (Employment Agency; UEN [UEN: e.g. 2024XXXXXX]; EA Licence No. [EA Licence No.: e.g. 24XXXXX]) ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you use this website and our services (the "Platform"). We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to all visitors and users of the Platform, including families browsing or registering for an account, employment agencies that list helper profiles, and individuals whose information appears on the Platform. "Personal data" means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with the Platform, we may collect:
- From families: your name, email address, WhatsApp/contact number, your stated reason for joining, account login credentials, your shortlisted profiles, and messages you send us.
- From employment agencies: your business name, MOM Employment Agency licence details, contact person, email, WhatsApp/contact number, and the listing content you upload.
- About domestic helpers: information provided to us by the listing agency, which may include name, age, nationality, marital status, religion, education, work experience, skills, languages, biodata, references, photographs and related documents. This information is supplied and warranted by the agency (see section 5).
- Technical & usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and similar data collected automatically when you use the Platform.
You may choose not to provide certain personal data, but this may prevent us from creating your account, approving your access, or providing parts of the service.
3. How we use your data
We collect, use and disclose your personal data for purposes including:
- creating, verifying, approving and administering your account;
- operating the Platform — including search, filtering, shortlisting and displaying helper profiles;
- connecting families with employment agencies and facilitating enquiries;
- communicating with you about your account, approvals, and service updates;
- maintaining the safety, integrity and security of the Platform and preventing misuse;
- complying with applicable laws and the requirements of the Ministry of Manpower ("MOM") and other regulators; and
- improving our services and understanding how the Platform is used.
Where required under the PDPA, we will obtain your consent before collecting, using or disclosing your personal data, unless an exception under the PDPA applies.
4. When we disclose your data
We may disclose your personal data to:
- Employment agencies — when you, as a family, choose to enquire about or contact an agency regarding a helper, so that the agency can respond to you;
- Service providers — such as hosting, email, and IT support providers who process data on our behalf and under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- Regulators and authorities — where required by law, court order, or to comply with MOM or other regulatory requirements; and
- Successors — in connection with a merger, acquisition or reorganisation of our business.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Helper profiles & photos
Helper profiles are submitted by employment agencies. The listing agency is responsible for obtaining the consent of each helper to collect, use and disclose her personal data (including photographs and biodata) on the Platform, and warrants to us that such consent has been obtained.
To protect helpers' privacy, full photographs, biodata, references and agency contact details are gated: they are blurred or hidden from the public and are only made fully visible to registered, approved family accounts, the listing agency, and administrators. You must not copy, download, scrape, republish or misuse any helper's personal data obtained through the Platform.
6. Cookies & analytics
The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences (such as grid/list view), and understand how the Platform is used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly without them.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws and regulations. When personal data is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymise it.
8. Data security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights (access, correction, withdrawal)
Under the PDPA, you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed;
- Correct any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete; and
- Withdraw consent to our continued collection, use or disclosure of your personal data, by giving us reasonable notice.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer (section 12). We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request and will respond within the timeframes required by law. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services to you.
10. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take steps to ensure the receiving party provides a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Contacting our Data Protection Officer
If you have questions about this policy, wish to exercise your rights, or would like to make a complaint, please contact our Data Protection Officer:
